Section 6 Definitions of Server Functions
6.1 Format
Server functions must be defined in one of the following formats.
(1) <specification of the return value> <variable to be returned> =
<function name>(<parameter>, ...)[<option>Δ...];
(2) <function name> (<parameter>, ...)[<option>Δ...];
(3) <directive to extend the return value><specification of the return
value> <variable to be returned> = <function name>(<parameter>, ...)
[<option>Δ...];
RPCGEN keywords enclosed by [] are specified in <parameter>, <option>, and <directive to
extend the return value>.
Example 1:
Specification of a server function
int func(int par);
The function takes par as an input and returns a value of type int.
Definition of the server function
int ret = func([IN DFLT]int par);
Description
Directive to extend the return value: None
Specification of the return value: int ret =
Function name: func
Parameter directive: [IN DFLT]
Parameter specification: int par
