These drives provide the following key features:
Minimal acoustics for consumer storage usage profile.

7,200-RPM spindle speed
8-Mbyte buffer: ST3500841ACE, ST3400833ACE, ST3300822ACE, ST3250824ACE, and ST3200827ACE.
2-Mbyte buffer: ST3160212ACE, ST3120213ACE, and ST3802110ACE.
High instantaneous (burst) data transfer rates (up to 100 Mbytes per second) using Ultra DMA mode 5.
