1.0 Introduction
This manual describes the functional, mechanical and interface specifications for the following Seagate

These drives provide the following key features:
Trusted Drive technology including:
Hardware Full Disc Encryption (FDE)
Drive Trust security interface and ATA security interface
Pre-boot authentication and initialization using the drive’s secure partition and Drive Trust API
Encryption key escrow. Consult with your ISV.
5,400-RPM spindle speed and 8-Mbyte buffer combine for superior performance.
Quiet operation. Fluid Dynamic Bearing (FDB) motor.
High instantaneous (burst) data transfer rates (up to 100 Mbytes per second) using Ultra DMA mode 5.
Tunneling Magnetoresistive (TMR) recording heads.
