3. Resetthemodem.SelectTools > AT Commands,andusethe
AT!MPGRESETcommandtoresetthe MPmodem.
4. ClickOK.
Set up TCP/UDP port forwarding
SettingportforwardingontheMPmodemcausesittoforward
unsolicitedexternalIPpacketswithcertainTCPorUDPPort
IDstospecificIPaddressesonthelocalnetwork.IftheIP
addressesspecifiedarestatic(thatis,tiedtoadeviceʹsMAC
address),thenthepacketsarealways
forwardedtospecific
devices.Thisisrequiredwhenrunningaserverapplicationon
thelocalnetwork.
Whenportforwardingissetup,theMPmodemroutesspecific
UDPorTCPpacketsfromtheInternettoaspecifiedportona
specificcomputer(orotherdevice)onthelocalnetwork.
Toconfigureportforwarding:
1. UnlocktheMPmodemconfiguration.InWatcher,select
Tools > AT CommandsandentertheAT!MPCFGOPEN=ʺxʺ,
where“x”isthepassword.(DefaultpasswordisMP3G,
e.g.AT!MPCFGOPEN=ʺMP3Gʺ)
2. SelectTools > AT CommandsandusetheAT!MPPORTMAP
commandtoconfiguretheportsontheMPmodemand
thecomputeryouwanttodirectthepacketsto.Youwill
needtoknowthe MACaddressforthecomputeryouwant
toconfigure.Formoreinformation,seethe3GMPModems
ATCommandReferencemanual
(document#21308 10).
3. Resetthemodem.SelectTools > AT Commands,andusethe
AT!MPGRESETcommandtoresetthe MPmodem.
