Getting Started
If “USB CHARGE” in the “DETAIL MENU” menu
is set to “OFF,” you cannot charge the battery
using your computer. Set “USB CHARGE” to
“ON” (page 71).
Do not use manganese battery for this IC
recorder.
During playback using the built-in speaker,
you cannot charge the battery.
When you use the IC recorder with a
rechargeable battery, the remaining battery/
charging indicator may not light fully.
During FM reception you cannot charge the
battery.
Clock setting display appears and the
year section ashes when you insert
battery for the rst time, or when you
insert battery after the IC recorder
has been without battery for a certain
period of time. Please refer to “Continued
directly from Step 1: Preparing a Power
Source” on page 18 to set the date and
time.
When using a fully charged
battery or an LR03 (size AAA)
alkaline battery
Follow the steps 1 and 2.
When charging/replacing
the battery
The remaining battery/charging indicator
on the display shows the battery
condition.
Battery remain indication
: Charge the rechargeable battery or
replace the old battery with a new
one.
: “LOW BATTERY“ appears and the IC
recorder will stop operation.
