Connecting a USB Device
You can connect a Universal Serial Bus (USB) device to your computer, such as a mouse, floppy disk drive, speaker, and
printer.

You cannot use USB devices if you disable the USB ports in the BIOS setup screen. To enable the ports, follow the steps and the tip in Disabling Built-
in Devices (page 130).
If the use of USB ports is restricted by the USB Access Restriction Setting utility, you cannot use USB devices. To change the setting, see Restricting
USB Access (page 132).
To connect a USB device
1 Choose the USB port (1) you prefer to use.
2 Plug the USB device cable (2) into the USB port.
