•Connectanisolationtransformerbetweenthesourceandunit
•Attachavoltmeterandaresistiveorelectronicloadtotheunit
outputbeforesupplyingpowertotheEVM.
Aseparate13-VbiassupplyisrequiredtopowertheUCC28060controlcircuitry.Theunitwillstartup
underno-loadconditions.However,forsafety,aloadshouldbeconnectedtotheoutputofthedevice
beforeitispoweredup.Theunitshouldalsoneverbehandledwhilepowerisappliedtoitorwhenthe
outputvoltageisabove50-Vdc.RefertoFigure3forarecommendedtestsetupdiagram.
CAUTION
Thereareveryhighvoltagesontheboard.Componentscanandwillreach
temperaturesgreaterthan100°C.UsecautionwhenhandlingtheEVM.
