Precautions for using the Reversing Automatic Document Feeder
Do not use the following 1 to 8 type originals as they may misfeed or become damaged:
Also, the following 9 to 10 type originals should be handled carefully:
1: Badly wrinkled or folded originals; in particular, originals whose leading edge is curled may fail to be
correctly fed.
2: Originals with carbon paper
3: Taped, pasted or clipped (cut out) originals
4: Clipped or stapled originals
5: Originals with holes or tears
6: Damp originals
7: OHP film originals
8: Others: tracing paper, permeable paper, coating paper (coating with wax, etc.)
9: Multiple originals, when pinched between 2 fingers, cannot be moved, or originals which are sur-
face treated may fail to be separate properly.
10: Folded or curled originals should be smoothed out before being used.
