Starting the TOSHIBA PC Health Monitor
The TOSHIBA PC Health Monitor can be opened by clicking Desktop
Assist -> Support & Recovery -> PC Health Monitor on the desktop.
The TOSHIBA PC Health Monitor main screen will be displayed.
This utility may be disabled by default on your computer. You can enable it
by clicking Please click here to enable TOSHIBA PC Health Monitor.
The "PC Health Monitor Software Notice & Acceptance" screen will be
displayed. Please carefully read the information displayed. Selecting
ACCEPT and clicking OK will enable the program. By enabling the
TOSHIBA PC Health Monitor software, you agree with these terms and
conditions and to the use and sharing of the collected information. Once
the program is enabled, the TOSHIBA PC Health Monitor screen is
displayed, and the program will begin monitoring system functions and
collecting information.
A message will be displayed if any changes which may interfere with the
operation of the program are detected. Follow the instructions displayed on
screen in the message.
TOSHIBA Gesture Controller
The TOSHIBA Gesture Controller allows the computer to detect the hand-
based gesture which executes some operations of the computer.
Notes on use
If you want to control some system components like onscreen
keyboard and task manager by using the TOSHIBA Gesture
Controller, please run the software under a user account with
administrator rights.
The software cannot work when the computer is locked.
The software cannot work when the computer enters screen saver.
The software doesn’t support external camera.
The software doesn’t support multiuser account operation.
The software cannot work under a guest account.
The software may not work properly when the camera is facing strong
light or the computer is placed in dark environment.
Small hand(e.g.kids’) may not be detected properly.
You may need to restart the TOSHIBA Gesture Controller or sign in
again to ensure that the utility works properly If the text size on the
screen has been enlarged or the resolution changed.
