QoS (Quality of Service)
TP-LINK Web Smart Switch supports port-based and IEEE 802.1p based
priority. QoS enables administrators to assign and designate trac
priority. This process helps applications such as VoIP and video
conferencing to be delivered clear and jitter-free.
VLAN Support
IEEE 802.1Q tag VLAN, Port-based VLAN and MTU VLAN are supported by
TP-LINK Web Smart Switch. The MTU VLAN can help you easily combine
each port with the uplink port in an independent VLAN.
Bandwidth Control
Bandwidth control allows a network administrator to determine how
much bandwidth is allotted to one certain port, it guarantees the Video,
Voice or gaming data ow to work smoothly.
VCT (Virtual Cable Test)
TP-LINK Web Smart Switch supports VCT which is convenient for
troubleshooting. Customers can start the virtual cable test (VCT) to make
the system test the cable connected to the current electrical Ethernet port.
The test items include: whether short or open circuit exists in the Rx/Tx
direction of the cable, and what is the length of the cable in normal status
or the length from the port to the fault point of the cable.
