Where is the Driver CD-Rom for the TFU-430?
Can I connect or disconnect the USB cable while the computer is on?
Yes, you can connect or disconnect the USB cable, or any external USB
device while the computer is on because the USB interface is Plug-and-Play and
hot-pluggable.
The TFU-430 does not require unique drivers; it uses generic USB and
preinstalled FireWire drivers provided by your operating system. You must have
properly installed USB and/or FireWire ports on your computer.
My computer does not detect my FireWire device. What should I do?
First, make sure you have connected the included FireWire cable from F1, F2,
or F3 port on the TFU-430 to the FireWire port on your computer. Please see
section 3 for more information. Second, your computer must have the FireWire
Host Controller installed properly for you computer's FireWire port to work. For
more information regarding FireWire Host Controller installation, please refer to
you computer's User Manual.
My computer does not detect my USB device. What should I do?
First, make sure you have connected the included USB cable from the UP port
on the TFU-430 to the USB port on your computer. Please see section 3 for more
information. Second, check that your computer's BIOS settings have USB
enabled. For more information regarding BIOS settings, please refer to your
computer's User Manual.
Can I daisy chain the TFU-430?
Yes you can. The TFU-430 can connect up to 127 USB and IEEE 1394
FireWire ports by daisy chaining TFU-430 USB hubs.
