8.1.1.6 Building New Accounts
Adding a New Account to the Home Page (Detailed in Section 7.2):
Click the
New
button. Within the
Configure Account
dialog box, type a description of the account into the
Description
field and the user ID defined by your ISP. Click the
Save
button in the dialog box to commit the new
account information to the WebShare Proxy Router.
8.1.1.7 Setting DNS Primary and Secondary IP Addresses
It may be necessary to modify the DNS Primary and Secondary IP addresses for a specific PPP account (consult
with your Service provider).
To accomplish this:
1. Click the
Edit
button of the appropriate PPP account. The
Configure Account
dialog box appears.
2. Click the
Advanced
button.
3. Enter the appropriate IP addresses supplied by your service provider into the appropriate DNS fields of the
Advanced Configuration
dialog box.
4. Click the
Save
button in the dialog box to commit the new account information to the WebShare Proxy
Router.
8.1.1.8 Connecting to a PPP Account
Click the Connect button. Within the Connect dialog box, enter the account password. Click the Connect button.
8.1.2. Diagnostics
8.1.2.1 Accessing the Main Diagnostics Page
Select the
Diagnostics
menu item from the WebShare management menu to access the Diagnostics page.
Figure 28 shows the window before any diagnostics have been performed.
