LED COLOR STATUS MEANING
WLAN Green Off The wireless LAN is not ready, or has failed.
On The wireless LAN is OK.
Flashing The wireless LAN is sending or receiving packets.
Green Off The 10M LAN is not connected.
On The ZyWALL is connected to a 10M LAN.
LAN 10M
Flashing The 10M LAN is sending or receiving packets.
Off The 100M LAN is not connected.
On The ZyWALL is connected to a 100Mbps LAN.
LAN 100M Orange
Flashing The 100M LAN is sending or receiving packets.
Off The 10M WAN link is not ready, or has failed.
On The 10M WAN link is OK.
WAN 10M Green
Flashing The 10M WAN link is sending or receiving packets.
Off The 100M WAN link is not ready, or has failed.
On The 100M WAN link is OK.
WAN 100M Orange
Flashing The 100M WAN link is sending or receiving packets.
CON/AUX Off The CON/AUX link is not ready, or has failed.
Green
On The CON/AUX switch is set to CON and the CON/AUX port is
connected to a management computer.
Orange Off The CON/AUX link is not ready, or has failed.
On The CON/AUX switch is set to AUX and the CON/AUX port has
an Internet connection through a dial-up modem.
Flashing The CON/AUX switch is set to AUX and the CON/AUX port is
sending or receiving data through a dial-up modem.
2 Setting Up Your Computer’s IP Address
Skip this section if your computer is already set up to accept a dynamic IP
address. This is the default for most new computers.
The ZyWALL is already set up to assign your computer an IP address. Use this section to set up your
computer to receive an IP address or assign it a static IP address in the 192.168.1.2 to 192.168.1.254 range
