Savingprintjobsreferstotheprocessofsendingprintjobsfromacomputerandstoringthemontheprinter’s
harddisk.Bysavingprintjobs,youcanprintthemrepeatedlyasneededwithoutsendingthemfroma
computeragain.
Savingprintjobsenablesyoutodothefollowingthings.
•Savethetimespentusingacomputer
Whenyousendaprintjobtotheprinter,youcaneitherprintitandsaveitontheprinteratthesametime
orsimplysaveitontheprinterwithoutprintingityet.Savedprintjobscanbeprintedintherequired
quantitylaterwithouttheneedtouseacomputeragain.
•Simplifyreprinting,ifanyerrorsoccur
Iferrorsoccurinthemiddleofprinting(aswhenpaperrunsout),youcanresumeprintingafterclearing
theerrorwithoutresendingtheprintjobfromacomputer.
•Streamlineprintingwork
Withoutusingacomputer,youcanselectprintjobsandprintinthedesiredquantity.Youcanalso
selectmultipleprintjobstoprintduringthesameperiod.Thisenablesunattendedoperationatnight,

Whensavingprintjobsontheprinter’sharddisk,choosetheformatintheprinterdriveroronthe
imagePROGRAFPrintPlug-inscreen.Choosefromthreeformatsforsavingprintjobs:Print,Print(auto
delete),andSaveinmailbox.YoucanalsochooseSavedatabeforeprinting,asdesired.

Saveprintjobsautomaticallyatthesametimetheyareprinted.(Thisisthedefaultformat.)
•Print(autodelete)
Saveprintjobstemporarilyatthesametimetheyareprintedanddeletethemafterprinting.

ThisoptionisavailableincombinationwithPrint,Print(autodelete),andSaveinmailbox.Print
