THROTTLE/CHOKE CONTROL LEVER
iMPORTANT:Whenoperatingthe mowerwiththe
cuttingdeckengaged,becertainthatthe throttle/
chokecontrolleveris alwaysinthe fastposition.
Thisleveris usedto adjustenginespeeds,to apply
theenginechoke,andto stopthe engine.Always
runengineat fast speedsettingforbestmower
performance.
CHOKE: Usewhenstartinga coldengine
FAST:Useduringmoweroperation.
SLOW:Usewhen idlingengine.
STOP:Stopsthe engine.
Choke Fast Slow/Idle
EngineOff
Besurenooneotherthan theoperatoris standingnearthelawn
mowerwhilestartingengineoroperatingmower.Neverrunengine
indoorsorin enclosed,poorlyventilatedareas.Engineexhaust
containscarbonmonoxide,an odorlessanddeadlygas.Keephands,
feet, hairand looseclothingawayfromany movingpartson engine
andlawn mower.
GAS CAP
Removethe gascap toaddfuel tothe fueltank.
Useclean,fresh, regularunleadedgasolinewitha minimumof85
octane.
Turntheengineoffandlet the enginecoolat leasttwo minutes
beforeremovingthe gascap.
DECK HEIGHT LEVER
Usethis leverto adjustthecuttingheight.To use,move
the levertothe left, thenplacetheleverinthe notchbest
suitedfor yourapplication.
