ENGINE MAINTENANCE
• Checkoil levelbeforeeachuseandevery8hours.
• Maintainengineoilasinstructedintheseparate
enginemanual.
• Serviceair cleanerevery25hoursundernormal
conditions.Cleaneveryfewhoursunderextremely
dustyconditions.Poorengineperformanceand
oodingusuallyindicatesthattheaircleanershould
beserviced.Toservicetheaircleaner,refertothe
separateenginemanual.
• Spark plugreplacementisrecommendedevery100
hoursoryearly.Checktheenginemanualforcorrect
plugtypeandgapspecications.
TILLER LUBRICATION
Checktransmissionoillevelafterrst5hoursof
operation.RemoveOilFillPlug(Fig.10).OilLevelmust
beevenwiththePlugHole(withTillerlevel.)Ifnecessary,
addOil.UseSAE30Non-DetergentMotorOil.Replace
OilFillPlug.
Checktransmissionoillevelaftereach10hoursof
operation.
NOTE:ItisnotnecessarytochangetheOilintheTiller
Transmission.Ifforanyreasonitmustbechanged,Oil
capacityis22oz.
