Changing how the product redials
If the product was unable to send a fax because the receiving fax
machine did not answer or was busy, the product will attempt to redial
based on the Redial On Busy and Redial On No Answer options. Use
the procedures in this section to turn these options on or off.
Note The product will, by default, redial if the receiving fax machine is busy
but will not, by default, redial if the receiving fax machine does not
answer.
To turn the Redial On Busy option on or off
The product is set to redial busy numbers five times automatically.
1 Press E
NTER/MENU.
2 Use the < or > key to select
FAX SETUP and then press ENTER/
M
ENU.
3 Use the < or > key to select
FAX SEND SETUP and then press
E
NTER/MENU.
4 Use the < or > key to select
REDIAL ON BUSY and then press
E
NTER/MENU.
5 Use the < or > key to select
ON or OFF and then press ENTER/
M
ENU.
To turn the Redial On No Answer on or off
The product is set to redial on no answer one time automatically in
the United States and Canada, and two times automatically for all
other countries.
1 Press E
NTER/MENU.
2 Use the < or > key to select
FAX SETUP and then press ENTER/

ENU.
3 Use the < or > key to select
FAX SEND SETUP and then press
E
NTER/MENU.
4 Use the < or > key to select
REDIAL ON NO ANSWER and then
