VI. COMFORT ADJUSTMENTS
Figure 28. Anti-Tip Bracket
Figure 29. Anti-Tip Wheel Adjustment
To adjust the anti-tip wheels:
1. Place a 1/2-in. spanner on the inner locknut of the anti-tip
bracket located right after your shock strut. See figure 28.
2. Turn locknut counterclockwise to loosen.
3. Place your 1/2-in. spanner on the adjustable camlocated
on the other side of the locknut.
4. To adjust the anti-tip upward, turn the cam
counterclockwise. To adjust the anti-tip downward, turn
the cam clockwise. See figure 29.
NOTE
:
Each drive tyre must have at least 30 lbs. of air
pressure in order for the anti-tip wheels to be properly
adjusted.
NOTE
:
The higher you raise the anti-tip wheels, the more
tendency your Jazzy has to tilt forward when coming to a stop.
You can compensate for this by making a small adjustment to
the pre-programmed deceleration setting in the controller or
by moving the seat assembly further to the rear of your Jazzy.
