CUSTOMIZING FUNCTION SETTINGS
CENTER DELAY
1. Repeatedly press FUNCTION until DVD appears.
2. Press
STOP .
3. Press
SETUP.
4. Press
or to select Audio. Press ENTER.
5. Press
or to select Center Delay. Then repeatedly press
ENTER until the desired Center Delay type (0ms, 1ms, 2ms,
3ms, 4ms, or 5ms) appears.
6. Press
RETURN

to exit and return to the normal screen.
Note: This delay adjustment depends on the location of your center
speaker. If the distance between the center speaker and the listener is
less than the distance between the front right and left speakers and
the listener, this delay adjustment is balanced. The relationship
depends on the room, for example, if the distance of the center
speaker is two feet less than the front right/left speaker, the center
delay can be set to 2ms. However, the best setting must be judged by
the listener.
PINK NOISE
This feature lets you test your speakers’ output to ensure they are
connected and operating properly.
1. Repeatedly press
FUNCTION until DVD appears.
2. Press
STOP .
3. Press
SETUP.
4. Press
or to select Audio, press ENTER.
5. Press
or to select Pink Noise, then press ENTER.
6. Press
or until the desired setting appears, and then press
ENTER.
•
Off: Pink noise test mode should always be off, unless you are
testing your speakers.
•
Left: The front left speaker emits pink noise.
•
Center: The center speaker emits pink noise.
•
Right: The front right speaker emits pink noise.
•
Left Sur: The rear surround left speaker emits pink noise.
•
Right Sur: The rear surround right speaker emits pink noise.
•
Subwoofer: The subwoofer emits pink noise.

1. Repeatedly press SOUND until the desired speaker appears.
• Front left speaker —
LEFT appears.
• Front right speaker —
RIGHT appears.
• Center speaker —
CENTER appears.
• Rear left speaker —
REAR L appears.
• Rear right speaker —
REAR R appears.
• Subwoofer —
WOOFER appears.
2. Press
or to adjust the sound level.
If you do not press any buttons within a few seconds, the display
returns to normal.
ADJUSTING SOUND QUALITY
You can control the Bass, Middle, and Treble ranges on your front left
and right speakers.
1. Repeatedly press
SOUND to select an equalization mode (BASS,
MIDDLE, TREBLE).

BASS — low sounds
•
MIDDLE — middle sounds
•
TREBLE — high sounds
2. Press
or to adjust the selected sound level.
