Time & Date
This menu lets you change the current time and date
showing on your phone’s displays.
Note: Before setting the time or date, you must set your local time zone
using the World Time feature. For more information, see “Setting Local
Time” on page 205.
1. In Idle mode, press the Menu (left) soft key ( ), then
press (for Settings) and for Time & Date. The
following options appear in the display:
ⅷ Set Time — Lets you manually change the current time
setting for your phone.
ⅷ Set Date — Lets you manually change the current date
setting for your phone.
ⅷ Time Format — Lets you select a 12-hour or 24-hour format
for showing and entering times.
ⅷ Auto Update — When active (set to On), the network
synchronizes your phone’s clock with the network clock.
2. Select a sub-menu and to change the desired setting.
3. When you have finished, press the key.
