Replace the roller unit (see “Installing the roller unit”
on page 12).
Replace all the covers that you have removed.
Turn on the printer.
Put the printer into not-ready mode (use the [~]
button) ‘ad use the
[PAPER FEED] button to advance
‘the paper so that the print head is just below a perfo-
ration. Put the printer into ready mode again.
Parking paper
Paper parking allows you to print single cut sheets even
when fanfold paper is loaded. The fanfold paper is tem-
porarily “parked” out of the way while the cut sheet is
fed through the printer.
Note:
Youcanonlyusethepaper@rking functionwhenfanfold
paperisloadedfromtherear.Youcannotuseitwhenyouare
feedingfanfoldpaperfromthebottomslot.
. The power should be ON. The release leaver should be
pulled forward ( ~ ) and the fanfold paper loaded.
. Put the printer into not-ready mode (use the [~]
button).
. Tear off the last page of the fanfold paper. If the paper
is not in a suitable position to be torn off, use the
[PAPER FEED) button to feed the paper forwards to a
suitable position.
