Set up email alerts
You can set up an automatic email notification to provide alerts in the
event of warnings or errors related to temperatures, fan speeds, or
hard drive occurred. To validate the email alerting feature, you must
also configure SMTP setup.
To set up automatic email notifications:
1 Double-click the Windows Home Server icon in the system
tray.
2 Log on to the Windows Home Server Console.
3 Click Settings.
4 In the navigation pane, select Hardware Health and Performance
Monitor.
5 In the E-Mail Alert Setting, type an email address to which email
alerts will be sent. If there are more than one addresses, use a
semicolon to separate different addresses.
