TCP/UDP Checksum Offload (IPv4)
The TCP/UDP Checksum Offload (IPv4) function enables the adapter to
compute the TCP and UDP checksums of transmitting packets and verify
the TCP and UDP checksums of receiving packets in order to take load off
from the CPU.
To modify the TCP/UDP Checksum Offload (IPv4) setting, do the
following:
1. Access the Device Manager on your operating system.
See “Accessing Advanced Properties” on page 47.
2. Select TCP/UDP Checksum Offload (IPv4) in the Property box.
The TCP/UDP Checksum Offload (IPv4) page is displayed as shown in
Figure 41.

3. Select one of the following options:
On — The feature is enabled.This is the default setting.
Off — The feature is disabled.
4. Click OK.
