Screws
There are 38 screws installed in these PowerBooks (not
including the CD-ROM drive) in 12 different sizes.
You will notice that each part other than the floppy drive
case kit uses only one type of screw, which makes
reassembly easier than in other PowerBooks. For example,
the display frame uses 6 identical screws and the trackpad
button uses 2 identical screws.
