1 Verify system software is version 7.1.2 or later.
2 Verify SIMMs are installed in pairs of same size/speed and
are noncomposite.
3 Verify software is known-good.
4 Verify software is Power Macintosh compatible (contact
developer).
5 Verify PDS slot has video card installed.
6 Clear parameter RAM. Hold down <Command> <Option> <P>
<R> during startup but before “Welcome to Macintosh”
appears.
7 Replace SIMMs.
8 Replace cache SIMM.
9 Replace logic board. Retain SIMMs.
10 Replace power supply.
