2.5 Advanced menu
The Advanced menu items allow you to change the settings for the CPU and other system
devices.
Be cautious when changing the settings of the Advanced menu items. Incorrect eld values
can cause the system to malfunction.

2.5.1 CPU Conguration
The items in this menu show the CPU-related information that the BIOS automatically
detects.
The items shown in this screen may be different due to the CPU you installed.
CPU Ratio Setting [Auto]
Allows you to adjust the ratio between CPU Core Clock and BCLK Frequency. Use the <+>
and <-> keys to adjust the value. The valid value ranges differently according to your CPU
model.
C1E Support [Enabled]
[Enabled] Enables the C1E support function. This item should be enabled in order to
enable the Enhanced Halt Sate.
[Disabled] Disables this function.
Hardware Prefetcher [Enabled]
[Enabled] Enables the Hardware Prefetcher function. This item should be enabled
in order to enable the L2 cache (MLC) Streamer Prefetcher for tuning
performance of the specic application.
[Disabled] Disables this function.
Adjacent Cache Line Prefetcher [Enabled]
[Enabled] Enables the Adjacent Cache Line Prefetcher function. This item should be
enabled in order to enable the L2 cache (MLC) Spatial Prefetcher for tuning
performance of the specic application.
[Disabled] Disables this function.
