4 When the confirmation message appears, click OK.
5 Click Close to close the System Properties window.
In Windows XP/Windows 2000, click and then click OK in the System
Properties window.
6 Click at the top right of the Control Panel window to close it.
7 Turn the printer off.
8 Remove the Setup Software & User’s Guide CD-ROM, if it is in the drive.
9 Restart Windows.
10 Install the printer driver again following the instructions in the Quick Start
Guide.
