Canon CD-4050 Scanner User Manual

CD-Recordable,
simply remarkable.
Documents scanned with the CD-4050 are converted
into multipage TIFF or PDF image files for recording to
CD-Rs—a standard, low-cost, reliable archiving medium.
A Windows
®
-based filing structure means CD images may
be retrieved and viewed
on the CD-ROM drive of virtually any PC
using standard Windows software. A powerful, intuitive storage
facility, the CD-4050 organizes documents into Cabinets and Folders,
allowing each document up to three user-defined data fields.
Desktop-to-network convenience.
Connected via Ethernet to your office network, the CD-4050 does
double duty as a high-speed network scanner, enabling on-line users
to retrieve, view, and print documents from the shared
network folder. What’s more, the operator has the ability to
distribute newly scanned or CD-stored documents via E-mail.
