Fan Tray for the Cisco Nexus 2232TM FEX
The Cisco Nexus 2232PP and 2232TM FEX use the same fan tray, which you can order with either
port-side-exhaust airflow (N2K-C2232-FAN) or port-side-intake airflow (N2K-C2232-FAN-B). The fan
tray includes a status LED that indicates whether the module is operational.
Caution Make sure that all of the fan tray and power supply modules use the same airflow direction and have the
same color designation on the front. Otherwise, the switch can over heat and shut down,
Figure 3-19 shows the fan tray with port-side-exhaust airflow (no black stripe across the front), and
Figure 3-20 shows the fan tray with port-side-intake airflow (black stripe across the front).
