Detaching Network Modules
Use the following procedure to remove a network module:
Step 1 Unplug all network interface cables connected to the network module.
Step 2 Loosen the two captive screws holding the network module in the chassis slot. (See
Figure 4.)
Step 3 Slide the network module out of the slot. (See Figure 4.)
Step 4 Repeat this procedure for every network module installed in your router.
Note Do not remove any blank network module panels that may be installed in your router.
