3 M2.5 x 8-mm screw labeled "O" 3R690
5. Pull the drive out of the bay.
Installing the CD or DVD Drive
1. Slide the new drive into the bay until the drive is fully seated.
2. Replace the memory module cover and tighten the captive screw.
3. Replace the M2.5 x 8-mm screw next to the memory module cover.

Removing the Modem

CAUTION: To prevent static damage to components inside your computer, discharge static electricity from
your body before you touch any of your computer's electronic components. You can do so by touching an
unpainted metal surface.
1. Follow the instructions in "Before Working Inside Your Computer
."
2. Turn the computer over, loosen the captive screw (labeled "C") in the modem/Mini PCI card cover, and lift the cover
away from the computer.
