selected and click the Finish button to restart the computer.

• After rebooting the computer an information dialog box will appear on the screen. It has the
following text:
Array manager has replaced Disk management, the built-in disk and volume manager that
comes with Windows 2000. Array Manager extends the functionality of Disk Management with
both hardware and software RAID management, while maintaining the disk and volume
functions originally found in Disk management.
If you uninstall Array Manager on a Windows 2000 machine, the Disk management program will
be restored to its original state. For further information, see the section "more on the Array
manager and Disk Management relationship" at the end of the overview section of the online
help.
After reading this, click the OK button.
Verifying Functionality of Dell OpenManage Array Manager
To run the Dell Open manage Array Manager click Start, then select
Programs, Dell OpenManage Applications, Array Manager, Array
Manage Console. This is shown in the figure below.
