# Installation of Dell Open Manage Array Manager on Windows NT 2000
81. • After choosing the type of installation to perform the installation wizard will recognize that
the host operating system is Windows 2000 and will display the following alert. It advises
that "Continuing will replace the native Windows 2000 Disk Management program with
Array Manager...". It will also advise that, "…If you uninstall Array Manager, the Disk
Management program will be restored to its original status..." Read the full alert and
then click on the OK button to continue.
82. • The next screen that will appear advises, " If this is the first time you have installed Array
Manager on this system, the install program will not be able to detect the firmware for any
PERC 2, PERC 2/SI, PERC 3/DI, or PERC 3/SI controller in your system. After you have
finished the install and rebooted, run the Array Manager Service Manager and click in the
Versions tab to ire this information...". Read this and then click the OK button to continue.
83. • A System Requirements screen will appear checking the current configuration against the
minimum required configuration. Everything should pass the check. Click the Next button
to continue.
84. • At the Choose Destination Folder for Windows Files screen click the Next button to
continue.
