Dell Client Manager (DCM) Plus
This fee-based upgrade adds fundamental software-management capabilities on top of
DCM Standard functionality. With DCM Plus, IT can:
• Migrate users to a new computer or operating system
• Remotely image a new computer or re-image an existing computer
• Remotely distribute and install software
• Create software packages for remote distribution
• Scan computers for detailed operating system and application inventory
information
• Take control of a computer on a LAN
Altiris Client Management Suite (CMS)
As a fee-based upgrade to DCM Plus, Altiris CMS delivers highly automated, policy-driven
hardware and software management. In addition to DCM Plus capabilities, Altiris CMS
empowers IT to:
