Removing a Media Card Reader

Follow the procedures in "Before You Begin" on page 53."

Lay the computer on its side so that the system board is on the bottom of the inside of the
computer.

Remove the computer cover (see page 59).

Remove the CD/DVD drive (see page 76).

Disconnect the data cable on the back of the media card reader from the front-panel
connector on the system board.

Pull up on the drive release latch and slide the media card reader towards the back of the
computer. Then, lift up to remove the drive from the computer.
