Using the Default-Seffing Mode

To enter the default-setting mode, hold down the
YES
button
while you turn on the printer. The printer loads a sheet of paper
automatically and prints a message:
English?
YES/NO
You can print the messages in the default-setting mode in
English, French, German, Italian, or Spanish.

To choose English, press YES.
To choose another language, press
NO.
The printer prints another
selection. Continue to press the
NO
button until the language you
want to select appears; then press YES.
Once you press the
YES
button, the printer saves the setting and
uses your selected language to print a list of the current default
settings and instructions for changing them. Here’s a sample of
what you’ll see:

Next, the printer prints the first question.
Message Direction: Normal. Upside-down
Change? YES/NO
Note:
If you are using the push tractor, the printer skips this
question. You cannot change the message direction for the push
tractor.
