Graphics Driver Installation
Since Windows NT 4.0 installation only installs a standard VGA driver supplied by the
operating system manufacturer, this needs to be replaced in order to make full use of the
capabilities of the high-resolution flat screen. The driver can be found on the "SBC
Drivers, Utilities & User Manuals CD). Installation is performed as follows:
Caution
For Windows NT, do not install the driver unless Service Pack 3 or
higher has been installed since in earlier versions Windows does
not support the AGP interface of the graphics card. Do not install the
driver during initial installation of the operating system.
1. Switch on the PC and after the system has booted up, insert the SBC Drivers CD in
the CD-ROM drive.
2. Click Start => Settings => Control Panel => Display => Settings => Configuration =>
Change graphics card => Floppy disk to open a path request dialog box. Select
Browse and specify the following path:
CD-LW:\SBC8260\DRIVER\VGA\Nt40.129 \OEMSETUP.INF
3. Select OK to switch to the graphics drivers menu and select the following driver from
the list and confirm with OK:
Chips Video Accelerator (65545/48/50/54/55 68554 69000)
4. To confirm the warning message, click Yes.
5. After you have finished specifying the settings, close the Display option box and
restart Windows NT.
Caution
Remove the CD-ROM from the drive.
