LCS485 converts RS-232 signals to differential transceiver, RS485, for
communication on multipoint bus transmission lines. It contains dual
differ
ential line drivers and dual differential line receiver, ideal for half-
duplex, full duplex, data monitor and multipoint applications. With
+/-15kV ESD protection, the LCS485 is ideal for long distance dif
ferential
signal transmission. Depending on the number of signal wires, it can
operate under Four Wire Full Duplex or Two Wire Half Duplex mode.
