5.16 Fan Assembly
1. Prepare the notebook for disassembly (Section 5.3)
and remove the following components:
a. Hard drive (Section 5.4)
b. Optical drive (Section 5.7)
c. Keyboard cover (Section 5.8)
d. Keyboard (Section 5.11)
e. Display assembly (Section 5.14)
f. Base enclosure (Section 5.15)
2. Position the base enclosure right-side up with the front
toward you.
