Removal and Replacement Procedures
4. Remove the battery pack by following these steps:
a. Turn the notebook upside down with the front toward you.
b. Slide the battery release latch 1 toward the notebook rear
panel. (The right edge of the battery pack disengages from
the notebook.)
c. Lift the right edge of the battery pack 2 up and swing it to
the left.
d. Remove the battery pack.

Reverse the above procedure to install the battery pack.
