physical design as the ThinkPad 340
PC Card Director (EasyPlaying) is preinstalled
and on the utility diskette for DOS, Windows and
OS/2. It provides:
① automatic config of many PCMCIA cards;
② visual/audible confirmation of insertion/
removal of cards;
③ ability to automatically launch an appl (e.g.
async emulation) when card inserted;
④ status and info on PCMCIA cards installed.
Easy-Setup is entered by holding F1 when
turning on. Easy-Setup, BIOS, and diagnostics
are located in flash memory.
Hard disk and diskette drive are not removable.
