In the solution shown in Figure 6 we have two IBM Ethernet Switch B24Xs providing connectivity to all
devices within a single rack. Within the rack we have a mix of servers with 10 GbE connections to each
B24X for redundancy. The B24X can also be used to connect to NAS arrays for scale-out file sharing and
also to a separate iSCSI SAN for dedicated storage access as bandwidth and security needs require.
