In case of the dial (pulse) line, you can switch it to the push-button tone using the asterisk "*"
button.
Pause : [P] is indicated on the screen.
Use this button to place a space between digits. Pressing Pause
generates a space of 1 second. You can enter this repeatedly.
If for example a number needs to be dialed first to reach an outside
line, Pause will insure that the line had time to connect to the out-
side before dialing the actual number.
- : [-] is indicated on the screen. This code serves as a delimiter
between digits when dialing and produces no effect actually.
Internet Fax: Used to enter the Internet Fax remote station registration No..
To correct a wrong entry, use DELETE, [CLEAR] or [STOP].
At this moment, the subsequent unregistered program number appears in [Program No.].
If you want to register the program No., press Program No. and input the new No. with
the key pad.
5. Enter the name of the Program dial operation.
Enter the name of the Program dial operation as necessary. See "Entering Names" (p.
Appendix-3).
The name can be up to 24 characters.
6. If you do not want to enter any more information for the Pro-
gram dial operation, press ENTRY. Go to step 10.
To configure the original settings or register the functions on the Fax Application
screen, go to step 7 and 8.
