1 Fan louvers
The internal fan and louvers enable air to circulate in the computer and cool the central processor.
Note: To avoid impeding airow, do not place any obstacle in front of the fan.
2 Video graphics array (VGA) connector
Attach a VGA compatible monitor or projector to your computer to display the computer output.
Note: If you attach your computer to a docking station or port replicator, use the VGA connector on the
docking station or port replicator, not the one on the computer.

3 Mini DisplayPort connector
Your computer has a Mini DisplayPort connector, a next-generation digital display interface that connects a
compatible projector, an external monitor, or a High Denition Television (HDTV) to your computer.
4 USB 3.0 connector
The USB 3.0 connectors are used for connecting devices compatible with a USB interface, such as a
USB printer or a digital camera.
Note: When you attach a USB cable to the connector, ensure that the USB mark is to the upper side.
Otherwise the connector might be damaged.
5 USB 2.0 connector
The USB 2.0 connectors are used for connecting devices compatible with a USB interface, such as a
USB printer or a digital camera.
