Alarm Control
Cartridge Alarm
Set an alarm when operator intervention is required.
For each alarm type, select from the following options:
Off
Single
Continuous
Notes:
Single is the factory default setting for Alarm Control. This
sounds several short beeps.
Off is the factory default setting for Cartridge Alarm.
Continuous repeats several short beeps at a regular interval.
Timeouts
Sleep Mode
Disabled
1–120
Set the amount of time the printer waits after a job is printed before
it goes into a reduced power state.
Note: 20 minutes is the factory default setting.

Print with Display Off
Allow printing with display off
Display on when printing
Print a job with the display off.
Note: Display on when printing is the factory default setting.

Hibernate Timeout

Set the amount of time the printer waits before it goes into
Hibernate mode.
Note: 3 days is the factory default setting.

Set the printer to Hibernate mode when there is an active Ethernet
connection.
Note: Do Not Hibernate is the factory default setting.

Set the amount of time before the display returns to a Ready state.
Note: 30 seconds is the factory default setting.

Set the amount of time the printer waits to receive an endofjob
message before canceling the rest of the print job.
Notes:
90 seconds is the factory default setting.
When the timer expires, any partially printed page is printed,
and then the printer checks to see if any new print jobs are
waiting.
Print Timeout is available only when using PCL emulation.
