This section describes the two ATM MDA models
(multimode and single-mode fiber models).
The two models can support various product lines (see
Table 2 on page 2 for a complete list of supported product
lines). For installation instructions, see “Installing an
MDA” on page 35.
The two models are:
• 450-2M3 MDA -- uses two SC duplex fiber optic
connectors for connections over 62.5/125 micron
multimode fiber optic cable.
• 450-2S3 MDA -- uses two SC duplex fiber optic
connectors for connections over 8.5/125 micron
single-mode fiber optic cable.
