Replacing the unit
Replacement of the air lter unit

Turn off the projector, and unplug the 1 )
AC power cord from the AC outlet.
Clean up the dust on the projector and 2 )
around the air vents.
Press ▼ downwards on the lter cover 3 )
to release the latch and open the lter
cover.
Pull out the air lter unit. 4 )
Pick the tab and frame of the air lter unit,
z
release the lock with pressing the tab rightwards
in the gure, and then pull.
Attach the air lter unit.5 )
Hold the air lter unit that the tab is in left side in
z
the gure, put the right side in the gure rst, and
press the tab side until make a click sound.
Close and press up to lock the lter cover.6 )
Make sure that the air lter cover is closed tightly.
z
Reset the lter counter.7 )
Turn on the power and perform [Filter counter reset]
z
in the [Setting] menu.
Attention
Turn off the power before you replace the air lter unit.
z
When attaching the air lter unit, make sure that the projector is stable, and work in an environment that is
z
safe, even in the event of the air lter unit dropping.
Do not operate the projector with the air lter unit removed. Dust may accumulate on the optical elements
z
degrading picture quality.
Do not put anything into the air vents. Doing so may result in malfunction of the projector.
z
The air lter unit to be replaced should be an unused product.
