Warnings
TO PREVENT THE RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK OR FIRE:
This product is designed for indoor use only.
Do not use in wet or damp areas exposed to moisture.
Not recommended for use with aquariums. High humidity environments can cause corrosion
and surface contamination, which may result in heat buildup and/or arcing between plug
blades.
Device must be properly connected to a grounded three-prong receptacle.
Do not daisy chain the unit with another extension cord or multiple outlet device.
Do not remove cover. No user serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to qualied
service personnel.
Limited Product Warranty
Philips warrants to the original purchaser (Customer) only that this Philips brand Theatre Director
Advanced Surge Protector (Product) shall be free of defects in materials or workmanship for a period
of 5 years from the purchase date. If the product proves to be defective during that period, Philips
will repair or replace it without charge for parts or labor. Repair or replacement will be Philips’ only
responsibility and the consumer’s only remedy. IN NO EVENT SHALL PHILIPS BE RESPONSIBLE
FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES; EXCEPT FOR (AND ONLY FOR) the specic
limited agreement of Philips to provide certain warranty benets regarding connected
equipment listed in the “Connected Equipment Warranty” section. [Some states do not allow
the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above exclusion may not
apply to you.]
To make a product warranty claim:
1. Call the Philips customer service number (919-573-7863).
2. Give a full description of the problem.
3. You will be given a Return Authorization (RA) number – no returned product will be accepted
without an RA number.
4. Send the product, transportation prepaid, to Philips’ address below.
This warranty gives you specic legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from
state to state.
