The standard addresses for serial ports COM1 and COM2 are listed in Figure 7. Recommended
addresses for serial ports COM3 and COM4 are also listed. The switch settings for these
addresses are shown in Figure 6.

5.2 Enabling or disabling ports
Each port of the DS-100 may be individually enabled or disabled. To enable a port, move the
appropriate switch to the "ON" position. To disable a port, move the switch to the "OFF"
position. This is illustrated in Figure 8 below.
The factory default configuration is both serial ports enabled.
