SCANNING THE CHANNELS
To begin scanning channels or to start scanning again af-
ter monitoring a specific channel, press
SCAN
.
SCAN
and appear, and the scanner begins to rapidly
scan upward until it finds an active frequency.
If the scanner finds an active frequency, it stops and dis-
plays that channel and frequency number, then it automat-
ically begins scanning again when the transmission ends
on that frequency.
Notes:
• You must store frequencies into channels before the
scanner can scan them (see “Storing Active Fre-
quencies” on Page 27).
• To change the scanning direction, press or .
• The scanner does not scan empty channels.
